Limited Access & Barges

More often than not, when installing screw piles for eg. a pool, on an exising property, the access to backyards is extremely limited in suburban locations (sometimes less than 2m access on either side of the house).
Even the smallest Excavators may be too large to fit, hence alternative solutions have to be found.
This could involve attaining access via neighbouring backyards, parks or empty lots adjoining to property, or even along beach front at low tide (permission dependent).

However when limited access machines and alternatives are even too limited to gain access to a specific job site - especially on waterfront/canal properties, the use of barges becomes invaluable.

With the ability to transport large machinery as well as other heavy equipment and piles, barges have become a paramount part of the access and delivery process, for many jobs we've had on the waterfront.

Our subcontractor, Grant Massey in conjunction with Russell Heale have completed numerous steel screw piling jobs using limited access machines as well as barges to deliver equipment.

By performing an on-site inspection prior to quotation & installation, we can assess the best possible way to deliver equipment, with the least amount of disturbance.

Whatever the job, we try to come up with the best solution regarding access capabilites.
